Ladysmith Ratepayers Association - helping make Ladysmith a better place to live!

Why Join the LRA?

LRA members are people just like you. They care about Ladysmith and want to stay informed about local developments that affect the quality of their lives. And they want assurance that their hard-earned tax dollars are being spent wisely.

They believe the public has a role to play in everything from assuring the protection of the local environment and watershed to supporting sustainable development and growth. They believe that transparent governance is good governance and are willing to support our decision-makers that share that belief.

Like you, LRA members don’t have time to support all causes. In joining the LRA, they can choose to join the committees that investigate the issues that are important to them; or they can choose to join none at all. Importantly, as a collective, LRA members decide which issues require a committee to keep our membership informed.

LRA members know there is influence and wisdom in the collective. Join us and put your tax dollars to work for the benefit of all Ladysmith residents. Get involved.
